On the first Friday of every month, the Utah Cultural Celebration Center hosts a special community event!
April 4 | Dear Pelican Project with Making Waves

Join Grow the Flow and Making Waves at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center to engage in an evening of art in celebration of Great Salt Lake. The evening will kick off at 6:00pm with the Dear Pelican Project: a free, public art build where Making Waves will guide participants in crafting origami pelicans and whimsical brine shrimp finger puppets. Space is limited to 30 participants, reservations are required. Secure your spot below!
Afterwards, from 7:00 to 9:00pm, we will enjoy live music from Michael Louis Austin, refreshments, a silent auction, and a gallery of art works that were so kindly donated to us by local artists. Each of these artworks are currently on display in the Crescent Gallery and are available to bid on the auction website through April 10th. Reservations are not required.
